    Cessna outside air temperature oddity

    I found this while entering the game from a parking area in the Cessna 152 Aerobat;

    This is indicating well below -60F° or -50C°. It return to normal once main battery is switched ON;

    As the OAT is not linked to the electrical circuit (or any other circuit for that matter...), it should be considered as one minor technical issue, don't you think? This quirk is present on both Cessna 152 and Aerobat. Maybe it is on other a/c.

    Yes, a problem across planes. Apparently the scale on the one in the 152 is off and needs to be fixed, too.

    Yep - the scale is completely off on that gauge. If you do the math, both scales meet at -40°F/C. It also shows 0°C matching up somewhere around 22-23°F.

    My main concern was the "dead OTA" on a cold start-up but you're right;

    The scales are way off. Thanks to TrackIR, I took the picture on the top, the bottom one coming from a parts dealer.

    Now; which scale, if any, is giving the real temperature?

    P.S.- After a quick experiment, I would say that the Celsius (C) scale is the one closest to temperature settings.

    Zendesk follow-up says SOLVED!

    A short look after the latest upgrade says "ahem... NO"...

    Anyone else could confirm?

    I haven't looked yet, but I'd say it's probably on their next major update.

    Edit - just saw there's a new update avail. now. Checking...

    Edit 2: Looks like only the A320 and B787 were touched on this update.

    Another edit... A few other planes and some more generic instrument folders were also updated. Go to Packages\Official\One Store then sort by date modified to see all of it.
