    Very nice! If you want a challenge, take the extra from that same airport, then when you see the river below, dive in and follow it out to Lake Mead. You want something fast - it takes forever in something like the 152/172!

    Tom, I have to try that. When I was flying the RF-4 we did a lot of low level, tree top flying. Being right on the deck at 420-489 kts. between two mountain ridges was the most fun flying I ever did. The Colorado river in the Grand Canyon is too narrow and twisty for a 450 kt. fighter, but the Extra...Yeah!!!
