    My main monitor is a reclaimed 40" "dumb" Samsung LED TV from 2014. It suffers from overscan when connected to the laptop, so I have it scaled down to 1842x1026, which is where I run my sim. After that, my settings are a mix of high and low, depending on how much real visual impact each setting carries. My visuals are more than good enough for me, but they don't match what a UHD can produce. I may upgrade when I get my dad's estate fully settled...

    I believe your dad would want you to have a full motion simulator with multiple screens and all new throttles and pedals so you can invite your friends from neighboring states over. Just thinking out loud.

    There actually was a Dark Star program, but it was a subsonic drone. Nice shots, thanks for sharing.
