Here are a couple shots while trying to explore some crusader sites in Israel (Belvoir Castle and Acre). My 28-times great grandfather, Sir Walter Tyrell III, participated in the first crusade and was at the siege of Jerusalem in 1096 (in 1100, he was accused of accidentally killing the king of England, King William II, while they were hunting together in the New Forest). One of his sons, my 27-times great grandfather, Sir Hugh Tyrell, fought in the second crusade, and one of his sons, my 26-times great grandfather, Sir Hugh Tyrell II (the "Grecian Knight", and one of "De Lacy's Barons"), fought in the 3rd crusade and was at the Siege of Acre in 1191.
Belvoir castle, one of the better preserved crusader sites in Israel, located just south of the Sea of Galilee.
The original location of the crusader castle at Acre is believed to have been located where the breakwater juts outward toward the sea, with some of the surviving foundation stonework still able to be seen today (the general outline can be made out by the waves).

Compared to the above, a modest shot from your servant.

Hey Ryan, that scenery is "Campbell Airport (C81)": https://flightsim.to/file/1437/campb...t-c81-illinois
It's really well done, with a lot of detailed additions within the city around the airport as well.

Dear all,
my name is Stephan, 47, from Germany. I have experience with Flightsims since FS98, but I paused this hobby approx. 5 years ago. With the MSFS I re-discoverd the fascination of flight simming. Mostly, I am acitve in german speaking forums, but I stumbled over this one when I saw the fantastic screenshots here. I really love to see what others do with their simulator and I also love to share my own experiences, but screenshots of such a high quality as here I've never seen anywhere else. Especially to mention those of Bomber_12th and RichardLouis which of course doesn't mean that all the other authors publish minor quality.
So my question: is there a hint or advice available how to create such fantastic pictures? I don't expect a tutorial, but maybe just a shorthand list of filters used would already be appreciated. BTW, I use Lightroom and Photoshop for adjusting my pictures.
Looking forward to see further great snapshots and also to distribute to that section.
Following some pics from a flight from Sydney to Ayer's Rock (both payware) with A320NX.
Best regards
Stephan
Those screenshots are fantastic, Stephan, and I would love to see you post more here! Speaking personally, I'm too lazy to mess around with any post-processing (just snap and share), but I do enjoy playing around with the weather settings in the sim as they can so drastically change not only the contrasts, but the overall colors as well (not just time of day, but the amounts and locations of clouds can have a big impact on the colors too).
Here are some screenshots flying from Land's End to St. Mary's on the Isles of Scilly - both exceptional freeware addons by Superspud, just recently updated again on Flightsim.to
In addition to always making sure I check through all of the latest releases on Flightsim.to, at least once a day, I've had to get in the habit of checking the recently updated section each day as well, as some of my favorite addons, such as these shown, are continually being updated and improved upon over time, and the updates don't show-up in the "recently released" section.

Thanks for your reply, John. I'm really surprised now that you don't post-process. Compared to mine they look so real. Mine are looking somehow artificial, I don't do post-processing as well. Maybe it's because I mostly use the Nvidia in-game filter, e.g. sharpening, structure and HDR. Will try to make the next screenshots without.
