They all start with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience .
The trick is, to fill the bag with experience before you run out of luck . . .

With regard to the FlyingIron Bf 109G-6 in development, with those most recent screenshots showing the modern military pilot - the pilot model looks to be scaled too small. In every modern Bf 109 and Buchon pilot report I've read, going back to the 80s and 90s, the pilot always states that you cannot fly one with a "bone dome" helmet, as you'll be constantly hitting the canopy (especially the top of your head). That is why you will never see a pilot flying one, even today, with a modern military helmet on, simply because it would be so restricting and uncomfortable. The closest I've seen is a Campbell helmet (leather-wrapped hard shell), but you mostly only see pilots flying them today with a basic cloth or leather helmet, or no helmet at all (the pilot of the Erickson Aircraft Collection Bf 109G-10 always just wears a hat and earphones).

I wish i already had it but J.Case is right , it is a preview.
I was watching this docu on the History Channel last night called : History's greatest aircraft.
The episode was about the 109 and they also said that the cockpit was very cramped and i think it was Gunther Rall who said that he bumped his head many times.
    Visibility was also very crappy.

    Some shots from today...

First was a little testing, both of the rig and the Porter. I wanted to get more familiar with the older style AP and do some heavy weather benchmarking of sorts with the DLSS 3.1.11 file I just dropped into the sim. Everything seems to be working smoothly. CPU and GPU both working hard, buy staying cool. By all rights, this should have been filed IFR, but what the heck... Inboud KGSO 5R in real weather.

Next two are from a favorite run - Domnicci to Princess Julianna. This time I maxed out the cargo to 2000#. I kept the cruise climb back to only 500'/m to maintain airspeed, but it still reached 12,000' with no issues. First shot is heading up and out, last is waiting to be unloaded.

I have been tinkering with some older fine-quality models and bringing them into the new game. This is one that is I'm pleased with the results. Still needs a bit more tweaking but I'm able to enjoy it for now.

Coastal Command never officially operated the Stirling, but until a Wimpy or Liberator comes along this fills the void

Priller, I am guessing the Phantom is a portover? I thought the portover utility was broken. I never could master the art of using it successfully. NC
