    Thanks a lot,
    Absolutely awesome work!
    Nice vapor effects.

    A small note:

I had some weird ring shapes inside the canopy in the VC.

Then I copied the vc_glass.bmp texture from a different skin into the texture folder and this solved the issue.

This vc_glass.bmp texture file is missing in your new paint scheme.

You're right I missed it. I intentionally removed it as I'm working on for further release and forgot to replace the original one before uploading.

Brilliant texture! Really gives the mig-29 a new lease of life. The external model has always been good but no textures have really done it justice till now.

May i make a couple of small recommendations for your paints? I think the intakes should have a much darker shadowing and the fan blades made darker as very little light would get in there.

heres a real photo to show what i mean

    Couple of things:

    a) This work with P3DV4?

    b) Any chance to consider some Luftwaffe skins like this one please from 2003?

    Anels,
You're fully allowed to modified the intakes & fan blade to make them darker if you wish I'll have an eye later on this.

    JosefK,
I don't have P3D, absolutely no idea wether IRIS MiG-29 works or not in this sim.
If it does, my texture might work on it.
This luftwaffe scheme is far on my working list (at least it's on it )

    Cheers

I really like the modified soundset of your package.

However when I shut down both engines I can hear them spool down but there is still an engine sound remaining with everything switched off.
Is this supposed to be an APU that is still runnning?

Thanks, I guess I'll have to make the time to test this out in my copy of P3Dv4.

This is an annoying stuff I still have to figure. must be related with an x[soundname] wav file set up in sound.cfg even at 0% rpm.
Remind this is a beta package pending improvement

I’d rather leave the texturing editing to you

Bonjour L'Iguane, your repaints are wonderful! Merci...

Are you planning to work on the naval version? (Mig-29K). I'm asking because there is some native FSX and P3D versions available here by iS4g Design Workshop, but only for the K variant...

Your FS9 textures almost fit the FSX model (by renaming 29_4_t.bmp as 29k_4_t.bmp), but not quite... And I'm too clumsy with Photoshop to fix it...

  13. #63
Problem is these textures aren’t made for fsx nor the K variant so that’s why it’s not working correctly

  14. #64
Well I just found by accident the P3D version is actually a FSX native model, so I can enjoy L'Iguane FS9 repaints straight away with no hassle! C'est fantastique....

Should post this in the FSX/P3D forum... Sorry for inconvenience...

    Thanks for the good news!

Glad to see it works in P3D.
From the screenshot, I can tell the P3D native mdl has far too much shine, giving an exagerated reflection.

    Cheers

File name "P3Dv4 Iris Mig-29 v02.zip", here (3rd item) in iS4g Design Workshop website:
    http://www.isoliti4gatti.it/warbirds/Tacpack.htm

It's said to be for P3DV4, but it works fine in FSX... It's a WIP, so expect some glitches (funky animations and missing textures)... but nice work anyway!

Huub, did you modify those exhaust petal textures? They look great!
