    Avionics Pop Ups Turn Black

    This seems to have only become a problem recently and I have no idea why. I run two monitors. . .one for the primary flight display and the other for placing various pop ups to monitor during the flight. As long as the pop up is on the primary display it's fine but if I move it to the other monitor it turns black. Any idea why this happens?

    Just curious...in your FSX.cfg, what does maximized= show?

    [Main]
    User Objects=Airplane, Helicopter
    SimObjectPaths.0=SimObjects\Airplanes
    SimObjectPaths.1=SimObjects\Rotorcraft
    SimObjectPaths.2=SimObjects\GroundVehicles
    SimObjectPaths.3=SimObjects\Boats
    SimObjectPaths.4=SimObjects\Animals
    SimObjectPaths.5=SimObjects\Misc
    Maximized=1<----------------------------------------- if set to 0 change it to 1
    Location=164,0,1196,740,\\.\DISPLAY1
    HideMenuNormal=0
    HideMenuFullscreen=1
    ProcSpeed=3864
    PerfBucket=5
    FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.40

    I will assume maximized=2 is for 2 screens and has not been recently changed. OK, wrong im my aausmption!

    Maximized=2 // 0 – open in windowed mode, 1 – open in full screen, 2 – open in windowed mode, maximized

    Maybe try maximized=1 and run in full screen mode and then try moving one of your popups.
