    "In Cloud Fog"

I see it now effects a good size of the realism percentage.

I've missed something somewhere i think.

So can someone please explain to me,
    1) What "In Cloud Fog" is ?
    2) What effect it has in the game?
    3) Why does it have such an affect on the games realism percentage setting?

    :ernae:

When you fly into clouds you become fogged in until you fly out - varies on density of cloud.
Hard to fly when in those circumstances... but reailistic

It is already realistically hard to see when in a cloud (my opinion) and the additional fog effect is not required for realism.

In fact, it looks like shyte on my computer...the fog overlay doesn't properly fit the screen.

I used to have this in P2 then i realised it was because i had zoomed myself back in my cockpit to get a better view of it.
What you have there is the side effect of the zooming, it only shows up in cloud and has something to do with the zoom changing the resolution or picture size of the cloud texture...or something like that.

Yeah, why doesn't this effect fill the screen on 16:10 monitors? It seems that it's a 4:3 aspect effect only? I'd fly with it on but it's too distracting to see only a partial screen fogged in.

Aussie Pilot is correct...it is a zoom thing.

I just turned the effect off.
