    On my Thud panel I did a fair bit of xml coding...but it was hit-and-miss as all I can do is work from example...and hope I don't break things...

    Embedded [coded into the model] gauges become a problem as they then have to be fudged together as separate xml for any 2D derived from the VC.
    I could probably live with a 2D panel like your B-29. The problem I have with 2D panels in general (other than the fact that you can't look around naturally like in a VC) is that they always seem to have you too close and too low. This looks really good!

    Been having fun flying around in this. Gotten pretty smooth at maneuvers as well. No one hardly gets airsick anymore! I did alter the aircraft.cfg file so the props didn't rotate for ages though. [propeller] propeller_moi=110 It was set at 876. I also just used this trick and raised the moi to let the props linger in my Virtavia Savage. They just about stopped instantly! (Learning is fun!) I have also dropped the sound from my A2A 337 Stratocruiser in here 'cause it needed some R-4360 rumble! (Have to see if I can swap prop sounds out with SoCal Prop's Tu-95 to get the contra prop roar as well!) Thanks for putting this out Pam! Even with the VC in a raw form it's a blast!

    As long as there's a good VC to catch.... or appropriate photo...a 2D panel is doable easy enough [easy is relative] and the panel.cfg can raise your horizon so you can see the ground before you hit it, if you know what I mean...

    I got carried away once, not just putting glass in the windows but also gauge reflections in them...coding the dials to work mirrored.

    I watched the vid posted in the Op....it's a must-see for anyone interested in these critters...

    Glad your enjoying it .. As for the MOI? No Big deal.. The flight model isnt so prissy and exact it cant withstand a few changes here or there.. It's like most things made in america: A little clunky here and there, but bulletproof and tough as nails ::LOL:: .

    Would love to hear what it sounds like with your modifications.. That should be awesome..

    I don't think there's anything wrong with the flight model. It just took some practice. I just didn't like how the props kept spinning after the engines were shut down. I did try the .air file from the N9M in the XB-35 to see what would happen. It taxied like it was on ice and took off really quickly! Immediately changed it back! This trick did improve my Razbam F-102 though when I substituted the .air file with one from Restauravia's Mirage III. Over the fence at a shade under 200 and no more slamming my nose gear on the ground which should not have been happening with a trimmed plane touching down at a higher than numbers speed of 250!

    Anybody figured out how to add gauges to the VC yet? I added smoke effects to mine. If interested copy and paste to aircraft.cfg file. Use 'I' key to turn on and off.

    [SmokeSystem]
    Smoke.0= -13.00, -24.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.1= -12.70, -22.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.2= -12.40, -20.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.3= -12.10, -18.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.4= -13.00, 24.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.5= -12.70, 22.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.6= -12.40, 20.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.7= -12.10, 18.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.8= -13.00, -24.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.9= -12.70, -22.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.10= -12.40, -20.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.11= -12.10, -18.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.12= -13.00, 24.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.13= -12.70, 22.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6
    Smoke.14= -12.40, 20.50, -3.0, fx_smoke_f6

    I've also been fiddling with smokes.....got them to 2 stages of intensity via throttle....and dependent on if the engine is running....shut one down and its exhaust does too...

    There is no possibility the author ends it?

    Piglet?? Slim to none. I am the original flight model person, which is why i still had the model after all these years. It had never been released to anyone. People attempted to contact Piglet over the years to no avail. We started on this plane in 2010. As the plane is so central to current history with the advent of the B-2 and since there was a demand for it, and since i dont have any of the skills needed to finish it, I made the decision that seven years was long enough, and released and alpha version of it to the public, in the hopes that others who had the skills, could finish it where i couldnt..

    [QUOTE = warchild; 1130463] Leitão ?? Slim a nenhum. Eu sou a pessoa original modelo de vôo, e é por isso que eu ainda tinha o modelo depois de todos esses anos. Nunca foi lançado para ninguém. As pessoas tentaram contatar o Piglet ao longo dos anos sem sucesso. Começamos neste avião em 2010. Como o avião é tão central para a história atual com o advento do B-2 e uma vez que houve uma demanda por isso, e uma vez que não tenho nenhuma das habilidades necessárias para concluí-lo, eu fiz a decisão de que sete anos foi suficientemente longo e lançada e uma versão alfa do mesmo para o público, na esperança de que outros que tivessem as habilidades, pudessem terminá-lo onde eu não poderia ... unfortunately when I convert to the program it loses several parts, it would be very laborious to redo this

    Yes, and therein lies the problem with conversions. You end up with a solid model, and completely lose all your animations. technically the entire model ould have to be remade, however, since fsx can use a seperate vc model from the main model, it should be possible to build a complete vc, both cockpit and engineering deck and use it..

    Still tweaking my smoke....added some combustion 'flame'...as I use them to trial and error the exhaust co-ords...
    It'll require 2 gauges added to the panel.cfg and some appropriate fx's...but this is what the [smokesystem] looks like at the moment...

    Actually, i found myself a bit annoyed at the music. It tol me that the producers of the show had no idea what they were actually doing. That was Jacks last interview before he died, but most people dont realize, just how great of a man Jack was.. He was like Anthony Fokker who created the worlds first all metal monoplane, back in 1919, but dreamed of the day Fokker aircraft would carry passengers all around the world.. Jack had the same dream in regards to the wing. He didnt want a bomber, but it paid the bills. He wanted intercontinental passenger flying wings. The B-2 wasnt the realization of his dream. That was a final slap in the face. Boeings sonic cruiser was the realization of his dream. Still, good video .. Thanks for posting..
