    B-29 "Doc" gets airworthy certificate!

The freshly restored B-29 "Doc" has completed phase 1 of its test operations and the FAA has issued it a special airworthy certificate. This means "Doc" can finally leave the nest.

Great to hear. Hopefully Doc will show up at an airshow out this way before too long.

"FIFI" is already confirmed for Oshkosh this summer, and knowing the guys that own/run the "Doc" organization, if the plane is healthy and able, it will be at Oshkosh this summer too (I think it's already been at least two years since the first Oshkosh they had their minds set on attending).
