I can't kill enemy

I dont know why, but i can't kill enemy.I try at dogfight mode, i come 10m behind enemy and spent all bulets,and he is alive,is it some bug?:karate:

Are your labels at the top of the screen indicating hits? It takes a lot of ammo to down these crates, they are mostly air, some fabric, some wood. Bullets going thru fabric do little damage. Which a/c are you flying? Some have very little ammo to begin with, one reason I started flying the Albatros, 1100 rounds.

Meat or metal, or the pilot and everything around him, engine, fuel tank, etc.
I go for the pilot.

Also with old cfs3.exe (perhaps you changed it) will break .. 50 yard hit bug will be there ........

Aim for pilot/engine.

Hey, MIODRAG
1. Do you see blue text lines (they tell you, that you have hit) above, when you shoot at a plane?
2. When you end a flight, there is a menue at the left side. On the side of it, there is "Stats" - open it and read, how many percent hits you have made.
3. Try a German aircraft with twin guns. When you only fly Allies so far, you may find it hard to bring an Albatros down. That plane can take quite a lot of hits.

I always play wit albatros. There is one stupid think.I hit plane he start to burn,and nothing he can flay 10min more.It is not posible.

When you speak of a flamer who refuses to crash, you are speaking of the freeware DVD, YES ? Because I have yet to encounter the problem in Phase 3 the Paywear :ernae:

Also there is the question of How did you come-by your copy of CFS3, if it's a Download. It'll work, but with some aircraft, you won't score a hit within 50 yards . . Known Bug

Do you see a Blue Text on the Top your screen saying:
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Hit German Aircraft . . .Repeated Over and Over again

Because if you dont see it, there are only 2 possibilities
1) you aren't hitting him
2) Somehow Text has been Disabled in overides

A way to make it all easy . . Fly the DH2 . .as it's the ONLY Aircraft with a front Ring Sight. . .if you don't get the Blue Text Then . . We know the problem is in Overides

I have that text. The blue collor is when i hit him, and red when they hit me. It is funny when you see that the plane in fire fly 10 more min. I try to install patch, but i can't, it report some problem" setup can not find your over flanders field installation" ?

If you are flying one of the models of Albatross, there in NO front gunsite, there never was. The bullet's Point Of Impact, would naturally be between the two guns, yet elevated quite a bit, like the top of the windscreen on the DIII, or along the water tank fill neck on the DII

If you're sighting along the barrels themselves, you would be hitting the air ABOVE your target

Best way to determine your Point of Impact. Would be attack a tree, or a shoreline, someplace where you can see the hits, as you kickup some dust or plumes of water

In Phase 2 there WAS a definate problem with FLAMERS, but it was much better than Phase 1.

Phase 3, has the problem totally eliminated, but it's not Freeware

You take the good, with the bad. Phase 2 is a pretty good buy for the money

Try translating the STICKY OFF Tips & Cheats, Just North of Here

#11 is the Key Commands Used

OK installation: install CFS3 . . Patch to V 3.1 . . Fly 1 mission

Install the 3 Large Files of Phase 2

Install the Super Patch & the hotfix

Make believe the Missions Tab doesn't exist

In order to function properly ( anything more than Quick Combat) . . Computer must be in ENGLISH, and the Regions US, UK, South Africa

There is No uninstall for OFF, you need to go....

My Computer > C Drive > Program Files > Microsoft Games > There's 2 huge folders that need to be Deleted:

CFS3WWI Over Flanders Fields

WWI Scenery

Now the "C" Drive is Default, and that's were it's supposed to be

Also, go to C:\Documents and Settings\your username\ApplicationData\Microsoft\CFSWWIOverFlandersField s. Delete the CFSWWIOverFlandersFields file. Don't forget the registry entries. I'll have to look them up. Give me a few.........
