JayShrikes Carrier fix at Flightsim.to
The Cougar was always one of my favorites. Nice work Rob, thanks for the pics Noddy.
Nice! I love those JASDF aggressor schemes.
Nice one Rob! I didn't see that being next.
Nice job on completing that Tiger texture. It looks great!
The purpose of vehicles like this (Pelican, Dark Star) is to show what MSFS is capable of creating. I love this stuff. It's one of the reasons I like simulators so much; you can fly what isn't real....
Thanks Dave! I'm looking forward to flying it.
WTG Baz (And everyone on the team that created it)! I was wondering if that was yours in the video. It's a shame we'll have to wait until November for it, but it will be worth it. It looks great. :)
Nice. Thanks for the heads up. :)
So there is a flight mode! Thanks, I didn't find it. I'll have to check for a manual later.
Wait, does that mean we now have a Halo drop ship in flight sim? I'm all over that! Update: Now that I've flown it, meh. It just uses a simple helo flight model. I would have preferred something...
Thanks guys, I always liked this plane. I know what I'm flying this weekend. :)
Nice shot DVJ! Is the Velocity out yet, or do you have a pre-release version?
My favorite Harrier would have been the Shar, but I'll take whatever I can get. ;)
To go supersonic, I do it like real life, I just use a shallow dive from about 33K ft to punch through mach unity and then pull up. I know the training flight doesn't allow that. I now need to figure...
Oh, yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm getting it. I've always liked the "steam-punk / diesel punk" look of the design. :)
Those prop disks don't look bad, other than I can tell where the blades are, which is wholly unrealistic. But, it could be a little darker. Having said that, nice pic. :)
He also reportedly did all of his own flying in the movie,"American Made."
There actually was a Dark Star program, but it was a subsonic drone. ;) Nice shots, thanks for sharing.
Well done and thank you! :)
Now I'll have to decide which plane I'm going to use on this route. Probably my WACO biplane.
DVJ - Where? Greeat pic. Rob - Whirlwind! Love it. :)
I saw Delmar fly the R-2 at Oshkosh and it was a hell of a show. I was going to look up some vids of him flying it to see how he does it, but John saved me the trouble by posting the numbers and...
Just flew the R2. It requires excessive alpha to fly at lower speeds, and I mean 120mph, which is unrealistic. It also has this silly canopy shaking effect, which I guess is supposed to represent...
