That sounds like a binding or axis issue especially if ATC can't keep 8.1 degrees AOA. I generally start with Chuck's settings on my TM Warthog and adjust from there.

jmig, surprised to read about your Hornet issues based on your background. I flew the 18 alot waiting on the F-14 to release and most agree the Hornet flies as if on rails, as a FBW aircraft should....
