The water is amazing ! The sky effects are stunning ! All this work will add so much to the immersion effect of CFS3. A new breath of life in my book. Out of All the other air combat sims out there, this is the one i always come back to. Only hope i have a pc that will last forever to play it.Lol ! Regards,Scott

Thank you Jan Kees, and thank you Richard! As I wrote in the description for the repaint, there is a bit of controversy regarding the aircraft. It is in-fact not the original wartime "Tall-In-The-Saddle", although the owner presented it that way when it was painted several years back. The way the story unfolded was that for many years Peter Teichman thought that the aircraft may have flown with the Tuskegee Airmen. There were two reasons for this - one, it was known based on the partial records that Teichman and his guys had that it was sent to the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations in early 1945, and then was sent back to the US in October 1945. And the second piece of potential evidence they had was that they found red paint around the inside of the unrestored tail (not taking into...

Hi - loaded up FSLTL a couple of days ago and was surprised to see a lack of orange (ie Easyjet) tails at Gatwick - tried Luton and got the same result. A few other airlines though. I haven't uninstalled AIG and on investigation I discovered that somehow (I don't remember selecting this) the FSLTL aircraft have installed to my "D" drive in a folder where I keep addon aircraft, and not my community folder. I suspect that the AI aircraft that I was seeing were generated by the "association" with AIG which diodn't pick up EasyJet, despite that being insalled in AIG. Using the linker I linked the folder on my "D" drive and now there are many more AI aircraft at LGW including Easjet - oh and BTW the AIG "association" still seems to be working as I'm seeing Emirates A380s at Dubai. ...

Oh c'mon G, pleaseeee tell me you've got it wrong and they're from CoD, FSX, P3D etc!!!! :crybaby: My flabber has never been so gasted, they can't be CFS3...I mean those first three pics are absolutely stunning. The individual buildings with shadows, the cloud quality, the internal canopy reflection/sun refraction, the edges of the clear vision panel, and the mirror...and that sea water colour and texture. I know I keep saying this to your's and others pics, but if people don't know what the original CFS3 looked like, or don't have other sims, then this is amazing to get it to this stage looking like that. Cheers Shessi

Yes, the AIG folder that contains the sim objects, effects etc just needs to be in the community folder for them to work, I tried that last night. I spent a few hours experimenting with FSLTL and mix thoughts currently: Pro's - great quality aircraft, contrails in the sky, accurate aircraft parked up at airports, easy to install and use, doesn't crash, falls back to AIG aircraft where missing Cons - live traffic only so sim time / date irrelevant, little to no VFR flights if using sim outside real VFR times, I guess it will only pick up VFR that have filed flight plans? I was flying last night (UK) and in a couple of hours flying never seen a single aircraft take off or land at EGCC, EGLL or JFK using different sim times / dates. There were aircraft flying around as I could see...
