Jonathan Beckett has a YT flight/review. Suggests its taking on Carenado. Likes the aircraft visuals, but thinks flight model is 'dumbed down' somewhat. No mention of an AP, hidden or otherwise, so I wonder if the basic keyboard AP works? (ALT HLD * HDG HLD] T43

Interesting that it searched for P3Dv6 and P3Dv7 during the install phase. Well it did for me. Curiouser and curiouser.....:pirate:

Not study level, I am all for that although not as important on a GA aircraft. But no autopilot would be a problem, here is an image of the cockpit from the website, I don't see it, wonder if they have hidden it somewhere but that's unlikely as they have other modern avionics in it.

Depending on what that price point is this could be a good thing. Some of us are more interested in the budget than others. If it means not having to wait for constant fixes to ‘study level’ components, even better.

Interested in the PA30. Does not appear to have an Autopilot from the promo pics I have seen. Anyone concur, or knows there is one? T43

Think that is one of Gary Payne’s last series of Essex boats. I enjoy these and his Midway carriers most of all for SEA era ops.

Extreme frustration here! Can't get the Thrustmaster T300 to work even though all fixes and tweaks have been tried. Time to go shopping for something better!!!! :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Next, Palikulo, which became Bomber 2 field...The strip in the background is Bomber 1, Pekoa. Runway created, yet to put some hours into creating the gsl there...All fields are pictured showing a layout circa early '43. I then go back & create late '42 versions, with shorter runways & (even fewer) ground facilities. Later additions for this area would be Bomber 3 at Luganville, & the Cub strip at Sandberg field, south of the Seaplane base. Not to mention the extensive non-aviation support & supply facilities completed in this area, mainly during 1943. Of course by then combat had moved back up the Solomons island chain...

Bought it! Looking forward to installing and flying out of Beale, AFB. Now, you need to do other US air bases. :)

Placards are in. Some little fittings TBD and we're ready to polish the textures. Please ignore the AO artefact behind the slipball, that'll get fixed.

Speedbrakes were ALWAYS used in the A-4, A-3, F-4, A-6, EA-6B, F-14. As I recall the S-3 did not, nor the F-8 or A-7 as I recall. The location of S/Bs on these planes did not allow it or they would likely also have been used. The higher RPM range with "boards out" on approach gave very quick rpm changes which made glideslope control and bolters much easier because of this quick response. The A-3 in particular would float like a kite if a little fast and you did not keep up with speed control; the boards made a big difference in power control with the J-57s. In fact the J-57 was the grandmother of the JT3 / JT8 series of low bypass fan engines, though it was a split spool, not a fan.

Scoobyman, He has all his uncle's notes to on mission building work from. His uncle made missions and campaigns for at least 12 years and over those learn more then what's in Cody's tutorial. How you've talked you've flown them.TheBookie helps him also,he started also back in 2002. Both of them do it because they knew Talon would do it he was still here. As for the USMC 43 Campaign the original part is done but he is waiting for Espiritu Santo scenery by UT to be done. The next part will be to continue it with the Solomons 43 late scenery.Time line to complete, don't know. Hiede

I don't really know Jerry. I think it's older and was one of Lazarus' files which he has taken with him and are no longer on the OH. I had a very extended Boat-folder on my old computer which I transferred to the new one. The folder has this title: USS_Bonnehomme_Richard. The cfg-file: title=USS_Bonnehomme_Richard model= texture=
