This is an updated version of my Jan 2023 video on the crash of two Boeing 747s (Pan Am & KLM) on the runway of the airport on the Island of Tenerife, Canary Islands, 27 March 1977. This update includes additional information on the crash from official sources, and a short interview with the surviving co-pilot from the Pan Am aircraft. With a death toll of 583, it remains the world's worst civil aviation accident. Hope you find it interesting. Cheers.

Hi Folks, Just uploaded something a little different that took my fancy (and distracted me AGAIN..ha!). Ported over from IL-2, a nice model of a Hannover CL-III German biplane escort/ground attack fighter. With tweaks and additions including putting some racks with dropping bombs on, 2D panel and working VC etc. Comes with five texs...you'll need sunglasses with some versions,....camouflage?! what camouflage??!!. Cheers Shessi https://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?action=jump&catid=205&id=30642

The performance of FS2020 is pretty good with the latest (Beta) update, if you already own 2020 give it a try, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Appreciate it Six, I know they're MANY of us CFS3 diehards out there, lol. My ultimate favorite video game. Been playing it since it came out. Not knocking IL-2 , but always find myself coming back to this one. Hopefully they'll find the heart to add on to this one soon. We shall see.

Thanks Gunslnger, Still enjoy CFS3 the most out of all my air combat sims ,along with IL-2 '46. CFS3 definitely needs more Russian aircraft. Ted, your work is outstanding ! Love everything you done and working on now. Thanks to all those who still work on CFS3 ,to make it one of the most fun WW II and Korea sims out there. I'd also like to say Strike Fighters 2 is also a good one with tons of mods and addons. In SF2 i have from WW II to modern day combat aircraft and tons of scenery and missions . Thanks to all for your work , and keeping CFS3 alive. Regards, Scott

Same with me DL re P3D v 5 -6. Am still wary hearing of some backward compatibility and other frustrations and not sure how significant the improvements are. v4.5 continues to work flawlessly for me.

This is a great addition for me. At one stage, I had a separate version of FS2004, just for Space. I used Carl Reddin's Space scenery & I found enough spacecraft out there to have a lot of fun (no combat though). I also had the 'Serenity' , from the 'Firefly' series, the UFO & and a couple of others.

Captain Kurt, He is just doing the campaign in stages. This stage is from when Enterprise started ops again in November 1943 thru 1944.Next will be 1945.He just doesn't want it to to big. There are several sites he's using, plus the the book"The Big E " Do you remember me asking for F6F night fighter for my son?Now you know why. There is also a Corsair night fighter that will be used for night action in 1944. Torpedo planes also attacked Truk at night. There were also Hellcats used for night ops with an Avenger with radar leading them.He does his research and let's me know what to tell everyone. He wants to know if Stuart would make light Carrier ( Princeton I think )They were used a lot with the Fleet Carriers. Also would like a repaint of the Avenger for night ops from Enterprise.

I found the problem. The canopy +sr.dds texture had the same shading/reflective opacity as the main r.dds texture.:banghead: It was too dark and I had to lighten it to a near bright white with the desired results. Thank you so much for your help Andy!:ernaehrung004:

I put it in the wrong sym. I put it in fs2002 other and it should have gone in the fs2004 other sym. Dave should be moving it.

Odd that it works for me. As a matter of fact, your question caused me to go back and fix all of mine. Since all of the metal finish F-86 share the same f-86_p.dds filename I only needed to create one f-86_p.+sr.dds file. Then each stand alone just needed the FF added at A46 to activate the reflectivity.

I didn't mean to imply that they were incompetent. Perhaps I should have used "inexact". In my own experience as skinner, I try to use photos of the actual aircraft I'm trying to represent. On the other hand, sometimes a dated B&W picture will leave certain things open to interpretation when no supporting information is available. Then one must proceed accordingly whether they be in a museum or representing a Photoshopped facsimile in this forum.
