I'm working on a personal project to update the TSR-2 for P3Dv5; I have useable external and internal models but I'm a bit puzzled that the fictional ones don't have weapons, though they should have according to the read-me. In FS2004 they were made visible using the Concorde nose lift/lower keys but these are not available in FSX/P3D. There are no weapons visible on my models at all in MCX, so my question is do they operate correctly in the original model in FS2004 and have I lost them somewhere along the way?:dejection: If I have, is there anywhere I can get a fresh copy, otherwise I'll start making my own... Many thanks folks DaveQ

A few pictures of UncleTgt´s Ki-43 wrecks. Here´s a row of parked planes at Wewak: And here, the same planes turned into wrecks after dropping some parafrags on them:

Ah, I thought I had the latest model but there is a newer latest model! Thanks Rob. :-) May I ask if you have any settings for boost, rpm, airspeed etc for various parts of the flight ? I find myself struggling to get any decent airspeed without pushing the boost up and overspeeding the propellers. In order to attain a cruise speed of 162 knots ( given by the Wikipedia entry for the Dove 7 ), even with the pitch levers fully back, I am still overspeeding the props above 2" boost. It's a lovely model, of course; one of my favourites in the sim.

What computer hardware do you have ? Concerning the payware airplanes, normally they come with an installation program, you shouldn't have to manually place the folder in your community?

Now my entire bindings profile won't persist. I create it (again). Save and apply. Exit the game, and it disappears. The name of the profile is there, but there's nothing assigned. This is is so annoying.

Cheers Ed, if you get stuck give us a shout, I know it can be a little tough to figure out at first, then it will all make sense. Thanks! I have Milton Shupe to thank as well as Lionheart Bill and the folks over at FSDeveloper.com. It's a great community with a wealth of knowledge. Doug

The BF109G is in my hanger. I can't play this sim until I load some more memory and get a good video card. I still have half my hard drive unused.

Thank you Fnerg and Dimus for taking the time to write out those explanations, and I am going to study that subject, COMP files, over the next few days and see if I can get it figured out. Great to hear Blackbird is listening to your suggestions Fnerg, it does sound like you have a great deal of knowledge on the subject. Thanks again, Ed

I saw the movie, "Fate Is The Hunter" when I was a young boy. It was many, many years later that I saw it again, but always liked it, and the people who started in it. It is on YouTube in its entirety if anyone is interested. Oh, and I do know that Ernest Gann wrote a book by the same name, which has zero relation to the movie whatsoever. Gann was so disappointed with the actual movie script that he wanted his name removed from the project. I still like the movie though.
