I have zero inside info, but based on how much of the MSFS roadmap is still being publicized, and MS focusing on fiscal years that start in July, I would bet the cost of a beer that we'll see MSFS 2024 around the 4th anniversary of MSFS's release. (Around August, 2024)

Is there a limit to the number of airbases that can be added in to the airbases file? I’m building my PTO specific install, and it seems like any airfield above 400, or 8400 for the ID, isn’t being recognized by CFS2 in the map view.

I suspect that MS 2024 is more than a few months away.

I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to a sim and tend to get a lot of goodies all in a short time period - both payware and freeware. I would love to 'jump in' to the current MSFS, but have a great fear of not only spending all that money on the 2020 platform, but also on all the fantastic addons for 2020 without any guarantees everything will work the same when 2024 comes in a few months. MS is very tight lipped regarding the new sim and said they may not release any new teaser update for a few months yet. MS did admit that the new 2024 version is quite different at it's core and for that reason they are giving developers plenty of time to adapt their existing and up and coming projects. A quick glance at the FS2020 list of items to be improved, added, or fixed reveals the...

No switches work in the Sabre portover; not converting the cockpit was apparently a condition of allowing it. So if you want to fly something that looks like a Saber and flies kind of like a Saber, but the cockpit is only for show (instruments looked to all work in the brief time I tried it), it's mighty pretty. Note also that because of the FSX cockpit, it doesn't work in VR.

Just want to commend and thank both Allen and Michael for your work on this project. The rear virtual cockpit implementation is very nice. I am using Michael's upload of the WWII version, and it works well in FSX. This means that I can fly it in VR, which is very enjoyable. It is a worthy companion to the old Just Flight Spitfire T.9. I never expected to be able to fly a 109 from this perspective. August

The "TERRAIN" line worked for me in fsx.cfg. Thanks for that, Ed. I'm not much of a GA guy so can some one recommend a suitable aircraft either stock FSX or free download? Thanks, Steve

Hi Dombral The 'funnel part' is probably mapped to the same texture as the funnel cap. It would have to be remapped and released again. I can do that if you wish. Cheers Stuart

Hello to all- The J-21R at rbdesign is Ito's, with an improved 2D panel and repaints. Works fine in FSX-A for me, once you tweak the .mdl file. -Mike Z.

I will probably not fly the Skyhawk then being too slow to keep up. I have a couple different ga choices and will decide and post here with downloads when we have MP players and the date so that they can see what I am flying and let me have theirs if I don't. BTW I own the Kodiak from when it first came out and put it in the hanger. Even if I fly my Carenado Cessna C208B there are freeware so it can be matched even if it's not the exact repaint. The same for many other aircraft. There is a lot of now free Aeroplane Heaven and Milviz for FSX online too.
