My Community folder is just addon packages - nothing like REX running. The last CTD was in the well-established DA62X twin Diamond performance mod. The vast majority of my flights in that plane are uneventful. A lot of my crashes are usually precipitated by an event - this time it was starting descent into Myrtle Beach. So either is was the start of descent itself, or a coincidence as I flew over something incompatible. I'd have to go over my list of scenery addons, but I don't remember adding anything in that region. Most of my flights are successful, so I'm willing to attribute the occasional crash to random glitches. For now...

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Skins - American Description: L-4 Grasshopper US Torch Skin by UncleTgt This is a repaint for the L-4 Grasshopper made by Allen for CFS 2. I found some photos that seemed to indicate the fuselage insignia was larger than Allen depicted, & a single overhead shot that seems to indicate this aircraft had a US Army style white star on the upper wing. I created this alternate paint to incorporate these observations. I've also included a tweaked mdl file. I used MDLmat to try & give the glass material some shine.

Strange, I own the Asobo Mustang, the engine doesn't die on me at all! BTW, I think the judgement on the AH Mustang is really harsh and not merited at all. Cheers, Priller

It looks like your hardware is so "new" CFS 2 doesn't recognise it. Use notepad to edit your settings to get the Sim to use better graphics. I'd try Device=Intel UHD Graphics 730 Mode=1440x900x32 Dither=0 Filter=1

Nope. Since the relevant files are all encrypted, the only way it'll get fixed is if Asobo decides to do so.

I assume you mean the freeware updated version done by Michael Pook? The one on the AlphaSim / Virtavia freeware site only shows 2002 and FS9 versions -- I also just reread your initial question. Actually it is common for any airplane to assume the static position of a previously loaded aircraft - i.e. if you switch from a taildragger to a tricycle gear plane while in PAUSE, it will be on its tail. Un-pause and it tilts onto a normal level position. Is that possibly the issue? I believe it is because FS and P3D keep the cg, fuel percentage and other qualities in place until Un-pause and the plane then resets.

Did my update last night, No problems. Left community folder in place, everything fine, except, a lot of my freeware sceneries won't show as installed. Doesn't matter if they are linked or direct installed in the community folder. They are all recently updated SW USA area sceneries. :banghead::banghead:
