PMDG stopped selling FSX aircraft a year or so back. I was too slow in getting the Boeing 737, mainly wanted the 600 & 700 series. Does anyone know of another payware outlet still selling the PMDG 737 FSX version. Many thanks for any help. Pete.

The first thing I found was a PDF called Easy Rivets that explains how I used to do it with dots but it's not that easy. So I searched on line and found: The rivets are a special brush download that I found that you install into your brushes. Then open it up and make it the size you want. Paint a line of rivets by holding down the shift key as you move your mouse horizontal or vertical or CAREFULLY diagonal if required. That one takes practice and a few retries til you get what you want. The beauty of it is that they are shaded already. There are different ones in the download. I think this is where I found it: https://www.brusheezy.com/brushes/49718-rivets-brushes or else here: https://www.deviantart.com/pixelstains/art/3-Metal-Rivet-Brushes-for-Photoshop-518351538 I...

The flight above from me was about 6 hours in duration and it went round & round the whole time. It appears to have stopped today. I now have a flight that left Perth, Australia (by AXONOS from the Orbx store) and I had a MASSIVE slide show until the aircraft "got away" from the airport (3-4 nm) I'd say. I'll just let things unfold for the next couple of days. :dizzy: - Don

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xufTUIf4MVY&t=0s Big and nasty but its still one of the best ways to get smooth with approaches and landings in FS. Note the early scene where it shows a flight line full of BUFFs. Look at the tail surfaces. This is normal for a parked BUFF (so it doesn't try to take off when its chained to the ground). :playful: The main part of the tail (the part that's angled nose up) is actually the trim tab part of the tail. The Elevator is a tiny strip along the trailing edge. It seems backwards but this is just something you need to get used to with the B-52. Kind of like the difference between "rotate" and "unstick". :jump: Some other things you just get used to, when flying low-level (200 to 500 feet AGL) and at speed (350-360 KTS) you really have to...

From watching a developer interview I gather failures are going to be an addon pack later IF there is a demand. So if you firewall the throttle and over torque the engine nothing happens? That stuff is important to me but I realize it is priced accordingly, I just wonder if and when the update is released and how much it will be. The base price plus failure add on will be the real comparison to the TBM for me.

No, Azurpoly´s C-160 has this feature, too. After flying a round I noticed some bugs belonging departure and landing behavior, permanent don´t sink warnings on approach in good conditions, trim behavior is very slow. Perhaps you wait for the hot fix. But the price is unbeatable. Great sound and great cockpit, nice systems. Thomas

Strangely, the Top Gun package also fixes some other issues. I have an addon for the Dominicci airport next to San Juan, and without the TG addon, all the ships in the water had all kinds of weird artifacts that made them look like they were covered in scaffolding and cranes. The TG addon completely fixed that.

The tall tail Bf109 "DF+CC" (White Bf 109 up thread). The drawing posted here and other profiles I have seen show it as G-10 or newer yet this flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/28092068@N03/5235004932/in/album-72157631641614115/ has pic that say it is "DF+CC" but tail number is 61 and also gives W.Nr. 14123. The book "MESSERSCHMITT BF 109 PART 2, THE: Part 2: 'F' to 'K'" list W.Nr. 14123 as Bf 109G-1 that Emergency landed due to fuel shortage 1943. Tall tails where not a thing tell late G-6...So is the listed W.Nr. wrong or did a G-1 survive as a G-12 and get fitted with a tall tail?

I'll be getting it, but not before I get the time to fire up the sim and let the updates install. That will probably be Saturday.

After a long way, the Aircraft is almost ready for a test flight with pilot and Gunner. There are still things to do, like animations, materials, damaged parts, bullet holes and all the LOD models. The aircraft need a proper DP and Airfile and a 2d cockpit. But the most of all work is done! wolfi

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Military - Props Description: This rebuild of the stock CFS3 Bf 109G-6 converted to a G-4 Two-Seat Trainer. Be aware the installer played havoc with some of the files and the GTN add-on versions are currently glitchy. SWS plans a hotfix by end of day today to fix the initial problems. I'm going to buy it as I've gotten a TON of joy from their Kodiaks, RV-10, and RV-14, but I won't have time to fly it until this weekend so I'll just grab whatever update's available by Friday. :)
